William Saxon's paper, published in the New York State Archeological Bulletin, 1973 is the most recent paper on the subject.

 

Dr. Jonathan Lapthrop, the New York State Anthropologist is currently working on the Paleo-Migration Project. The goal is to track the Clovis and Paleo era projectile points throughout the region. Volunteers are seeking the location of the points seen in the black and white photo. When located, they will be photographed, measured, weighed, 3D fractal mapped and the data sent to Dr. Lapthrop to aid his research.
